MY WAY
The focus of this course is to offer students an opportunity to alter the appearance of an original design. Suggested options are provided in many sections. These choices can be different stitches, colours, opposite colour value directions and fibres. The model features a neutral border with two distinct colour harmonies A (green) and B (mulberry). For the third family C , I expanded the number of values included in the colour range of the neutral border. Wonderful results can be achieved through numerous colour combinations. You are encouraged to use your creativity and individuality . There is an alternative square “G” you can use and the squares can be placed in different orders . There are a large variety or stitches and stitch techniques including a large Rococo Stitch, Waffles, Walneto, Crescent Stitches, Spider Stitch Variation, Slanted Florentine, Flat Stitch, Basketweave, Oblong Cross Stitch, Rice Stitch, Smyrna Stitch, Ray Stitch and much more! No Kit students are requested to have the border done before class Other supplies required are: stretcher bars, embroidery scissors, laying tool, plus floor or table stand is recommended and lighting and magnification if required.
